Pastors’ Get-together at Darranga

Recently, Darranga was blessed to host 17 ministers of God from various denominations. These ministers gathered together for an hour of fellowship – praying, singing and sharing experiences. It was an amazing get-together of saints. Most of them shared their joy as it was the first time something of this sort happened in this small town ‘Darranga’, at the Bhutan border of Assam. All unanimously voiced their opinion that it was worthwhile to continue this fellowship in the coming days. It was overwhelming to see the servants of God coming together in love and unity. Please continue to pray for this area as there is a wide scope for ministry. We want to see a powerful move of the Holy Spirit in this area, saving and healing the souls of thousands. Financial Crisis

The current state of our ministry finance is beyond the income received through contributions. The expenses have increased considerably since last month. This is attributed due to the increase in ministerial activities and new ministerial hires. Several of the ministerial needs have been put on hold due to the shortage of funds. Recently, God enabled us through some well-wishers to distribute food kits to 200 flood-affected families in Assam. The funds received has been fully utilized for this purpose only.

There are urgent needs that need to be taken of, but we lack funds.  One of the needs that need immediate attention is the setting up of the Bible School, scheduled for opening on September 21. A lot of physical arrangements are to be made before the trainees arrive.

If you are led by the spirit to contribute towards this need, request you to please do so. If not we ardently request your earnest prayers. This is the time for you to sow into the work of God either through your time, talent or tithe.

Crisis in Assam Training Centre

There is an unfortunate crisis being faced in the Assam Training Centre. The Bible School was supposed to start on September 21’ 2017. The owner of the building which we had rented has backed out of the agreement. Due to this unforeseen situation, we need to quickly get a new building to accommodate 20 trainees and two staff and their families. Pr. Ponnachan George, who is in charge of the Training Centre, is currently on the selection trip upto Tinsukia, Assam. He is doing a great job. Please pray that God provides us with the facilities that is required for the setting up of the Training Centre.
